The French Kiss Collections Watercolor Spot Textures can be used as is, but when placing them on a colored background follow this technique I’ve developed called Enhanced Transparency.
Download the e-book describing the technique in detail. It includes 2 other techniques for knocking out the white background.

Very nice work Leslie!! Thanks for sharing with us!!!
Wonderful tutorial.
Question: I’ve been asked to teach a Photoshop class for a local camera club. Would you please share the software you used to create your teaching videos? Thank you so much. PS I am not geeky at all so love simple, idiot proof software with fastest possible learning curve…lol!
Deborah recently posted..Pre-order unlimited copies of the 2013 “Enchanted Moments” calendar by October 31st for only $10.60 each (plus p/h)!
I use Cametasia – I use the Mac version – they have both. It’s not too hard but there is a little bit of a learning curve. I’m probably not taking advantage of all its bells and whistles, but it does the job! http://www.techsmith.com/
Best of luck with your class!
Should have read Camtasia…
Hi Leslie,
Thanks for posting these and including the e-book. I’m really looking forward to playing with the spot textures!
Thanks,
Anita
Excellent tutorial! Thanks for including the unique mask for each spot texture in the collection. Opens up a whole new world of possibilities for me in using textures with images. Your website is a wealth of information – much appreciated.
Thank you, Bill!
