I thought I’d write a quick note to say that while all seems quiet on the front here, I’m madly busy behind the scenes getting things in place before I officially announce the site. So, here’s a bit about what I’m up to and what’s coming.

Lots Of Vintage Finds

The past 3 weeks I’ve been going to flea markets (OK, I admit it, I LOVE flea markets, so it’s not hard work!) and scanning almost non-stop. There will be a lot of new text overlays as well as other vintage finds.

Photoshop Brushes

I have several brush sets in the works. Paris brushes, Ancient Urban, more script brushes and ornament brushes.

New Textures

I’m working on new textures. Some very different than what I’ve done in the past using old papers and vintage collage elements. My husband, Michel and I are also working on new painterly textures done in oil / acrylic and pastels. The best is yet to come!

More Support For Photoshop Elements Users

This week I purchased Photoshop Elements so I can offer more support for Elements users. I won’t be an expert for awhile, but I’ll work on it. I just made my first Elements Action today. Woo hoo!

Photoshop Actions

While I’ve been using Actions for as long as they’ve been a part of Photoshop, I’ve never had to share them before, so that’s been a learning process that has held me up testing for other programs and versions.

Photo Frames

I’m slowly working on photo frames. I have a box of vintage, hand-screened wallpaper that was in the attic when we bought our 1901 house. I’ve also been collecting vintage fabrics and and old photos. Below is a look at one I’m working on now. The fabric on this one is from vintage curtains bought at the flea market. (The photo is from a greeting card I did with photographer, Laura Aldridge back in my professional hand-coloring days.) This is still in progress, but let me know what you think so far.

More, much more

I have a lot of other things I’m working on, grunge frames and overlays, new packages and discounts, and new ideas for the blog and ways to interact.

Let’s Not Forget The Free Gifts!

I don’t want to just package up some reject textures to give you, I want your gift to be special, so I’m working on which textures and overlays to give you. It will be done soon.

It will take time to get all of this finished, but I’m nearly ready to kick things into gear. I’m working 8-10 hours a day, but I’m loving it and can’t wait to get things rolling and start seeing more of your beautiful art!
